Communication can be the key to a great relationship with your children and a lack of communication between you and your child can lead to bad feelings and a lack of authority. Communicating with your child can be hard if they are especially resistant. But there are ways to communicate properly with your children and hopefully help you two build a stronger relationship.
Always use eye contact when you are speaking to your child, this will help to create a bond between the two of you, and make sure they are looking at you when you are talking to them. Try to stay calm, even if they have done something bad, yelling at them will not help matters.
