Surely we cannot have reached a stage in our society where we are punished for showing affection to another person?
When I was in high school, our year head (Miss Phillips) was always talking to us about boundaries, she made it clear that no one was allowed to violate our personal space, she told us in no uncertain terms that no one was allowed to touch us if we didn’t want them to.
